ORBIT Pipe Repair Clamps – assembled in Australia

MODEL: ORBIT REPAIR CLAMP

Available in any custom size or standard size between: 44.0mm and 440.0mm.

Orbit pipe repair clamps for pipeline leaks are widely used across Australia and parts of Asia because of the ease of installation and low cost. The Orbit pipe repair clamp model is the economical clamp allowing the user to seal any unwanted leak of gas or fluid from any holes or cracks in pipelines. To Install – Wrap the clamp over the specific hole or crack ensuring the centre of the clamp covers the hole or crack, and then to fully seal the leak, tighten the bolts to the maximum bolt tightness indicated on the clamp label. The rubber on the clamp will seal the leakage by compressing down onto the pipe, and using the square rubber sections of the rubber for multiple sealing points. Sizes up to 250mm are rated to 16 Bar. Clamp sizes over 250mm in diameter have a pressure rating of 10 Bar. This model of clamp is only to be used to repair a leak and cannot be used to connect two pipes together. The Orbit pipe repair clamp can be fitted to any pipe material.
Available in outside diameter sizes from 44.0mm to 440.0mm.

Available in widths of 55mm, 78mm, 110mm, 200mm, 300mm, 400mm.

Sleeve material options are EPDM, NBR, Viton, only suited for temperatures up to 60 Degrees Celsius because of the rubber glue.

The casing and lock parts are manufactured from 316 stainless steel (W5) and also fitted with teflon coated stainless steel bolts.

Model: FLEX GRIP 2

Available in a range of custom sizes or standard sizes between 20.0mm and 4000.0mm.

The Orbit Flex Grip 2 is the most versatile pipe coupling and pipe repair clamp model in the range due to its double locking mechanism on both sides of the coupling providing added strength and functionality. The Flex Grip 2 can be used for both pipe connection and joining as well as pipe repair.
1. Available in S or L, short or long versions – 2 piece pipe clamp
2. Non-axially restrained pipe coupling, and can be used for pipe repair.
3. Allows slight misaligned pipe connection
4. Allows vibration in the pipeline and slight movement

ORBIT Flex Grip Open

Model: Flex Grip – Open

Available in a range of custom sizes or standard sizes between 20.0mm and 355.6mm.

The Orbit Flex Grip Open model of pipe coupling allows the user to connect two pipes together when the pipes are already in position as the open model can be wrapped around the pipe ends via the hinge mechanism. This open coupling can also be used to seal the unwanted leakage of gas or fluid caused by a hole or crack in a pipe simply and quickly by wrapping the clamp directly over the hole or crack in the pipe and tightening the bolts to ensure the seal sleeve stops the leakage. Useful for repairing leaks, small holes or cracks in pipes.

ORBIT Metal Lock

Model: METAL LOCK

Available in a range of custom sizes or standard sizes between 20.0mm and 406.4mm.

The Orbit Metal Lock pipe coupling allows the user to join and connect two metal pipes with axial restraint and pull out resistance. Ideally used when vibration in the pipeline is not allowable and where movement in the pipeline needs to be prevented as much as possible. This coupling also comes with the capability when coupled with the Fire protection cover to be fire proof.
1. Available in S or L, short or long versions
2. Axially restrained pipe coupling for 100% grip around the pipes
3. Prevents pipe connections from being pushed or pulled with grip rings and teeth locking the pipes in place together with the tightening of the bolt mechanism and solid bars.

ORBIT Plast Coupling

MODEL: PLAST COUPLING

The Orbit Plast Coupling with the copper rings on each side of the coupling allows the user to connect and join two plastic pipes together with axial restraint and pull out resistance for HPDE, PVC and other plastic pipe materials on the market. Most commonly used to connect but not limited to HDPE pipe.

Casing material is 316 stainless steel (W5) with sleeve options EPDM, NBR, Viton, Silicone.

Available in Sizes 20mm to 315mm. Pressure rating from 32 Bar.

ORBIT Flex Grip

The Orbit Flex Grip pipe coupling model enables the user to connect and join two pipes quickly and easily with the ability to allow pipes to flex and compensate for pipe misalignment and imperfections when joining two pipes together. Manufactured from marine grade 316 stainless steel (W5) and fitted with teflon coated stainless steel bolts as standard on all Orbit Couplings in Australia.

ORBIT Flange Adapter

Model: FLANGE ADAPTER

The Orbit Flange Adapter is used to connect a plain ended pipe to a flange ended pipe without any requirement for welding or fabrication on site. With a quick and easy installation this is the most simple way to connect a plain ended pipe to any flange. Installed with an Orbit coupling of any choice of model suitable to the users requirements.
1. Manufactured from 316 Stainless Steel Flange and Pipe. More options are available. Available in sizes up to 5000mm.
2. Good for connecting PE, FRP, GRP, PVC pipe
3. 316 Stainless Steel Coupling (w5) with EPDM, NBR seal
4. Flange Adapters are designed to suit the outside diameter of the mating plain ended pipe.

Flange adapters enable the connection of a plain ended pipe to a
flange ended pipe without the requirement for welding on site.

Installation of the Adapter

Flange Adapter tube to match the outside diameter of the plain ended pipe being connected. Flex Grip Coupling or Metal Lock Couplings used to connect and seal the join of the mating pipes.

Choosing the correct Flange Adapter

Flange adapters are available in a wide variety of sizes to suit.
1. Measure the nominal bore of your plain ended pipe
2. Determine which type of flange you need the adapter to bolt to.
3. Measure the outside diameter of the plain ended pipe

ORBIT Fire Protection Pipe Coupling

The Orbit Fire Protection Cover is used for the fire protection of an ORBIT Metal Lock pipe coupling installed on a pipe line. Suitable for engine room application on ships.

3. Fire Testing according to ISO 19922 regulation 30 minutes at 800 C

Pipe Coupling Model: COMBO LOCK

The Orbit Combo Lock model of pipe coupling allows the user to connect and join two pipes of different materials such as metal pipe with HDPE pipe, with axial restraint and pull out resistance.

Casing material is 316 stainless steel (W5) with sleeve options EPDM, NBR Viton, Silicone.

Available in sizes 40mm to 168.3mm. Pressure rating from 32 Bar.

ORBIT Elbow Repair Clamp

Model: Elbow Repair Clamp

Available in any custom size or standard size between: 15.8mm and 508.0mm.

The Orbit Elbow Repair Clamp enable pipe fitters and installers to seal the leakage of gas or fluid from a pipe bend crack or hole. Pipe elbows due to their curvature and re-direction of flow are susceptible to developing cracks on welds and wear from abrasive material inside the pipe. Normal repair clamps are too wide for the elbow curvature and the slim design of the elbow repair clamp allow for this fitting on a long radius pipe elbow. Available in sizes from 15mm to 508mm.

Casing manufactured from 316ss (W5).

Sleeve materials can be EPDM, NBR, Viton, Silicone
